Assemble delivery system according to manufacturer’s recommendations
Adjust the flow of oxygen to nebulizer to create a steady mist of medication (6-8 LPM)
Secret: Direct patient to count, “2 seconds in, 2 seconds out”

Ventilate at 12-20 BPM timed with patient’s inspiratory effort
Document dose and time of administration and monitor for desired and adverse effects
