All in the details…. • You will write a two paragraph research paper that includes a works cited page. • Topic: Why ____________ is the best alternative energy source • You must include a works cited page • Work must be done NEAT but it can be written or typed • Be sure to use good grammar and attempt to spell words correctly

  3. What is REQUIRED? • You MUST write one paragraph • You MUST have 3 sources, at least one of which is a printed book (you can choose your other two sources) • Your final draft is due no later than Friday, March 14th • We will be going to the computer lab on Monday, Jan. 27th to do some digital research. You need at least TWO websites with 4 facts on your alternative energy source on this date

  4. What Alternative Energy source should I choose? • Wind power • Solar Power • Geothermal Power (from heat in Earth) • Hydroelectric Power (from moving water) • Tidal Power (from the movement of oceans)

  5. What to write… • Sentence 1: __________ is a great alternative energy source. • Sentences 2-7 : Supporting details from your three sources on why this form of energy is good/cheap/useful. • Sentence 8: As stated earlier, I believe that __________ is the best energy source we could use for the reasons stated above.
