  9. CONCLUSION • The OAS and its Member States have a high-level international organization that can and should be used to its full potential • There are areas and issues in which the IADB can help, assist, advise, and collaborate even more with the OAS

  10. CONCLUSION • There are other issues, once having been evaluated in depth, that could find a place in the future work agenda of the IADB, further expanding and improving the technical and consultative support it can offer the OAS • The ongoing participation and dialogue among every element involved, with all engaged proactively, will no doubt enable the desired goal to be achieved: the IADB will be strengthened, as will its capacity to support the Member States

  11. CONCLUSION With the IADB’s effective participation, adding value to the issues mentioned above, will also strengthen the OAS, peace, and hemispheric security

  12. INTER-AMERICAN DEFENSE BOARD(1942 – 2010) YEAR IV AS AN ENTITY OF THE OAS “Contributing to the Peace, Confidence and Security of the Hemisphere”
