  1. What Emma Taught Me! By Renee Washington

  2. Focus. • Emma, every time you sit down to do any piece of art work at our art sessions, you start to work immediately and diligently. Your focus on your art projects has taught me to have more focus on my life projects.

  3. Determination. • At every art session I have seen in you Emma this determination. This drive that you have to get what you are working on done in your own time. You inspire me to have more determination in getting my homework done.

  4. Skill. • Emma you showed such skill in your art projects. You have perfected, in my eyes, your cat making and clay modeling skills. However I think the reason your skills are, so flawless is because you have worked on your art abilities for quite sometime. When I grow up Emma I can’t wait to perfect a skill like you have already maybe I’ll work on drawing cats.

  5. What it Means? • Dear Emma, In the short time that I have known you Emma Thiele you have made me reflect on a few things about life and myself. Your focus, determination, and skills at the age of nine surpasses (is way better) mine at the age of 25. Emma with the self motivation that you have I can see you going to college September or being the president of the United States.

  6. Opportunities and Possibilities • Dear Mr. and Mrs. Thiele, The children you are raising are absolutely wonderful, positive, in tuned, individuals. They have a sense of family culture and self awareness. Emma at the age of nine has not only showed that she had a great appreciation for art ,but she has showed a way to express herself through art. Thiele’s please continue to do whatever it is you guys are doing… You guys are on the right track.
