Eternal Purpose of God • Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: • John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  3. Christ’s Purpose • John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. • Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

  4. The Mission • Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: • Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. • Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

  12. Seek Opportunity • Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. • Luke 10:36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? • Priest? Levite? Samaritan?

Be an Example • 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. • Titus 2:7-8 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewinguncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, (8) Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

  15. Don’t Get Discouraged • John 13:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. • 2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
