Reg CE 178/2002 stabilisce principi e requisiti generali della legislazione alimentare e istituisce l'Autorità Europea per la Sicurezza Alimentare (EFSA) Reg CE 1760/2000 istituisce un sistema di identificazione e registrazione dei bovini e relativo all'etichettaturadelle carni bovine
