  2. Summary • Stanley Yelants was walking home when a pair of sneakers falls to the ground. A boy from school accuses him of stealing and Stanley is arrested. He is then taken to Camp Greenlake, were he is introduced to a wide variety of young boys. He then has some luck when he finds a gold tube while digging one of his holes. Then things start to turn, the greedy warden wants more and more and Stanley’s world has shifted.

  3. My Character • My character is Squid. • I picked Squid because he was one of the first at Camp Greenlake to be introduced. • Squids real name is Alan.

  4. About Squid • There isn't much about Squid or what he did to be put in camp Greenlake, but clues infer that it had to do with his mother since he is always taunting Stanley about writing his. In the end of the book he even mentions to Stanley to write a letter of apology to his own mother.
