Outcomes from All-NOAA CI meeting • CI executive board met with PPI/goal team leads and program leads • PPI/goal/programs concur that CIs should be able to play a role greater than what was outlined at the All-NOAA CI meeting, particularly when they have expertise to share. • CI director added to OAR science board • Presentations at http://www.nrc.noaa.gov/ci/

  3. CI/CREST Exchanges being investigated for 3-10 days in August Need name & SSN for invitational travel ASAP. Do not purchase tickets for invitational travel, you may not get reimbursed

  4. STAR/CI/CREST Exchanges during CoRP Symposium Need name & SSN for invitational travel by June 21st (tomorrow!!). Do not purchase tickets for invitational travel, you may not get reimbursed

  5. NESDIS CI Director focus group on climate data records • Date tbd - Tue Aug 29 or Fri Sept 1?? • Need purpose/outcomes to ensure attendance

  6. GOES-R Risk Reduction • STAR and CIs chance to shine • We want this to be the model for future satellite acquisitions • We need to succeed! • Algorithm Theoretical Basis Documents • 1st draft needed early FY07 in most cases • Needs to fold into GOES-R AWG activities
