Day: 1 (Introduction) • Introduction was simple and elucidative • Self introduction of the participants was inspiring • Tutors background was interesting • The goals of the course were explained • Welcome page was displayed well • The communication with the tutor was cordial
Day: 1 (Statistics) • Use of statistics was explained well • Exciting explanation of usages of statistics • Terminology, concepts and tools of use of statistics was displayed to us well • It improved our knowledge well • We got the meaning of collection of data in sampling techniques • We appraised to use statistic versus disaster
Day: 1 (Analysis of Data) • We understood the cause and effect of disaster • We understood the cause and effect of statistics • The example of Bihar was impressive • The guided exercise was buzzling
Day: 1 (Self Assessment) • Worried and excited • Tutor made it easy • It was good evaluative mechanism • Got fear and therefore learnt • Truly self evaluative
Day: 2 (Improve DM with Fact Based Information)) • Well guided exercise • Self timed exercise • Came close to computer network • Learnt to meet everyone through e-net working • Video tutorial was excellent
Day: 2 (Improve DM with Fact Based Information) • Exciting to put personal data • Happy to read others data • Community of participants came closure to our relationship • Chatting was informative • Online module was easy to read
Day: 2 (Improve DM with Fact Based Information) • Learnt virtual communities and social aspects was crucial for tutor • Learnt Tutor and their skills was crucial • Applications of communication tool was thriving force • Learnt basic meaning of tutor and task • Learnt importance of content related qualifications
Day: 3 (Assuring Quality) • Experimented communication tools in the net • Interacted through group e-mails • Morning we came got the tutor news • Self assessment was practically feasible • Learnt web-quest with interesting tutors communication
Day: 3 (Assuring Quality) • Studied the case studies of web-quest • Learnt importance of e-learning phase • At the end participants came closer to the tutors • Tutor was explanatory and well communicative
Day: 3 (Future Prospects/ Proposals-I) • Need to train the DDMA • Need to train all type of faculties • Need to train School teachers • Need to train instructors • Need to train capacity buildings experts • Need to train Civil Servants • Need to train Head of the community members
Day: 3 (Future Prospects/ Proposals-II) • DRM should also include some exercise on earthquake risk assessment involving mock drill since Delhi and large areas of NCR falling in the Seismic Zone IV • It can be included in all streams of Schools, Colleges and Universities as compulsory syllabus
