  5. Big Idea: Light travels in a straight line.

  6. Big Idea: Opaque objects, like bodies, block light from the Sun, creating a shadow. Opaque – light does not travel through an object

  8. Big Idea: Shadows change during the day because the position of the Sun changes as the Earth rotates.
