Higher One & Fairfield University There IS an easier way to make tuition payments… The Monthly Tuition Payment Plan The Tuition Payment Plan that was previously administered by Sallie Mae, Inc. is now administered by Higher One. You may continue to see references to Sallie Mae, Inc. on the enrollment site until it is updated later this year.
Monthly Tuition Payment Plan • Flexiblealternative to traditional lump-sum payments at the start of semester • Allows you pay the total cost of tuition, room and boardin 10 equal monthly installments • Families find smaller payments easier to manage

Financial Aid & Your E-Bill • Approved university aid disburses in JULY • Federal and State aid will appear as a “MEMO” (pending approval) • Deduct “MEMO” items from balance due • State grants will disburse during the fall semester • Federal Work-Study does NOT disburse to the student’s account
Financial Aid & Your E-Bill • If you do NOT see university aid or MEMO items on your E-Bill: • Offer of aid has NOT been accepted by student • Required documents have NOT been submitted to confirm aid award • File review is still in process* All offered aid is ESTIMATED until you are notified by the Office of Financial Aid of a final award.
