In the top photograph, what should your ISO setting be set to in order to expose the image correctly? Candid shots are, unposed and unobtrusive • Candid photography is all about capturing spontaneous, moods, moments and reactions • Candid shots are best captured either when a person is busy at work or is in conversation or is not attentive to the happenings in the surroundings (when a person is immersed in his own world)

Tips • It’s your responsibility to exercise discipline and take photographs without distracting others (and without introducing distraction/clutter in your photographs • To capture the best, unposed and natural shots, try to kill the consciousness. Practice the following tips: • Avoid using flash; the flash light makes one conscious. • Shoot from a distance; let your subject be unaware of your presence. • Photograph them when they are busy with their own stuff. • Follow the composition rules, capture lines & patterns, play with shutter-speeds, ISO & aperture. • Consider setting your camera to continuous shooting mode; to capture spontaneous reactions and mood drifts • Zoom-in • Be Patient and wait for the moment to happen
