He was said to be an “evil genius” and an “anti-Christ of painting.”He lived an unorthodox life, having to flee Rome for murder.   5. Bernini’s Biography Bernini was an architect, painter, playwright, composer, and theater designer. He sculpted another version of “David”. He also painted “The Ecstasy of St. Theresa”. By the time he died, he had left his mark on Rome.
