  3. All individuals equal – regardless of membership • Justice is a moral requirement • Can be distributed individual to individual, but having a national institution take responsibility is probably more conducive. Cosmopolitanism

  4. National Pride • Doesn’t require global justice • This approach sees motivation as a important concept for creating a situation where people are willing to accept justice. Nationalism

  5. States (people) for themselves - they decide who gets what • Group membership is more fluid • Global justice can happen - but only as a global government is created through a complex process Statism
