  4. This is how you make a Halloween jack-o-lantern. Choose a pumpkin.

  5. Cut off the top.

  6. Inside there are lots of seeds.

  7. You have to scoop them all out!

  8. Now carve a mouth, eyes, and nose.

  9. Put a candle in and the top back on. You have a jack-o-lantern.

  10. Other Traditions: • Bobbing for apples • Haunted house • Costume contest
