Report Romania For the second time this school year some students and teachers of EscolaSecundária da Trofa have been abroad to participate in the 2nd meeting of Multilateral Comenius Project, which took place in Romania from 10th to 16th April. Once again and similarly to our visit to Turkey we were amazed and delighted with the friendly welcome and the carefully planned schedule that allowed us to get a broaden view of the country and its culture while increasing our knowledge and our experience. We are thankful to the nice and friendly people we met and who tried hard to make us feel at ease. We are really grateful for the visits you´d previously planned, namely to the historic places and monuments which are a high mark in our cultural awareness. Among the activities performed at school and the visits to cultural sites, we highlight the magnificent castles and powerful monuments which invite to travel back into history. We were given the opportunity to learn about the Educational System of the involved countries, of its culture and traditions as well as its food and customs. We could attend some lessons and we could notice some differences that, besides contributing to the country´s identity, account for the richness of mankind on the grounds of variety. Our last day was spent in the capital, and the Parliament and the Village´s museum were worth visiting. We could realize that better than study history is take part and breath it. Although it was just for a week, the communication and involvement with a different reality, different people and a different culture made it an unforgettable experience while increasing our knowledge and broadening our horizons.
