  2. Steps to the Scientific Method Question Research Hypothesis Do experiment Analyze Data Repeat experiment Draw conclusion

  3. Testable Question! -Does the type of sugar affect the cavities size? -What if the water in the flower is a different color, will the flower change in any way? Testable Question? A scientific question ALWAYS has to be a testable question. A testable question always starts with ex: What if?, How?, Does it?, etc.

  4. Hypothesis! A hypothesis is usually a theory made from an experiment. The theory is about predicting what will the conclusion be.

  5. Do actual experiment! No explanation needed… but when you do your experiment you need to make sure that you have all the materials, but most important… RECORD THE RESULTS!

  6. Analyzing Data! When you are analyzing data you will need to check everything you have done in your experiment. You have to check your notes, videos, anything that you have recorded in your experiment.

  7. Repeat experiment! Before you can draw a conclusion, you have to repeat your experiment. You have to go back and change your hypothesis if it is wrong… but if it wright, you just repeat the experiment just to verify.

  8. Finally… DRAW YOUR CONCLUSION! Finally… the last step. To draw the conclusion you have to have the results, you had to repeat the experiment a lot of times. After you had done that you can draw your conclusion. Your conclusion proves if your hypothesis was correct, or not.

  9. That was the Scientific Method!
