Mass vs. weight OK, so I leave earth and go to the moon. How does my mass change? NERDY!!!! Your mass doesn’t change… but your weight does… more on this later… YARP THAT!!! Lookylooky. Did my “stuff” change? Did I lose part of me??? Nope… still me… same mass Ah, but earth has more GRAVITY! Can’t jump as high! Yep. We call that WEIGHT: THE PULL OF GRAVITY ON AN OBJECTS MASS
