Logging Onto a Computer • Your User Name is your firstname.lastname. • Your initial password is the last 6 digits of your social. • You will be asked to change your password the first time you log in. • Example: • User Name: david.beard • Password:987654 Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to log onto a Dysart computer.

  3. Changing Your Dysart Password

  4. Locking Your Computer • Lock your computer by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete and then clicking the Lock Computer button.

  5. Unlocking your Computer To unlock your computer just press CTRL + Alt + Delete

  6. Finding Your Network Drives To access your network drives from anywhere in the District: log on to any computer. Your network drives should be mapped to your desktop. Or open the My Computer icon.

  8. The Dysart Toolkit Click the Start button and scroll to the Dysart Toolkit.

  11. Adding a Printer Click on Start,Searchand then Find Printers….

  12. Adding a Printer Type your school’s abbreviated code in the Name field. Click Find Now. Double-click the desired printer in the list.

  13. Selecting a Printer Select the desired printer from the Printer drop-down arrow. Once you’ve chosen your desired settings (number of copies, etc), click the OK button.

  15. Student Accounts Student accounts can be managed by school staff through the following website: www.dysart.org/studentaccounts

  16. Student Accounts Search by last name, first name, grade or student ID. Use the “email these students” link above your search results to email all students listed below. Clicking on a student’s Account will open their H: drive. If activated, clicking on a student’s Dmail will open their email account. An activated Dmail account will be underlined.

  18. K-8 Student Accounts School Groups are pre-set groups. My Groups are used to set up different groups. Click the email button to generate an email to students in the group. To create a group, enter the name and click the add button.

  19. K-8 Student Accounts All students assigned to you in SASi will be listed.

  20. K-8 Student Accounts Drag the people icons from one box to the other to manage the group. When all needed students are added, the group is created.

  21. K-8 Student Accounts Every student in the district has a Dmail account. This Dmail address is the same as their Dysart login account. Example: K-2 Students - 1234567@dysartstudents.org 3-12 Students - dbeard1217@dysartstudents.org For K-6 students, the password is their student ID. For 7-12 students, their password is their student ID initially but they may customize it upon log in. Students may access their Dmail accounts from the Dysart homepage or the school homepage.
