MA5300 Service Functions • As IP DSLAM equipment, it provides ADSL service. • As IP DSLAM equipment, it provides VDSL service. • As IP DSLAM equipment, it provides SHDSL service. • It provides Ethernet access service . • It provides multicast service and controllable multicast service, and realizes management on multicast service operation. • It provides multiple authentication functions: point-to-point over Ethernet (PPPoE) authentication, virtual LAN (VLAN) authentication, 802.1X authentication. ADSL Service • Adopts DMT (Discrete Multi Tone) modulation mode. • Asymmetrical transmission mode is supported, and the upstream transmission rate can reach 896kbit/s, while the downstream rate can be 8160kbit/s; • Adjusting the transmission rate based on the line conditions when initializing, with 32kbit/s adjustment step length. • Parameters of ADSL line can be queried and configured, including the upstream and downstream service rates, noise tolerance, output power, line attenuation, etc. Security Level: Internal
VDSL Service • Adopts QAM modulation mode. • A symmetrical 12Mbit/s transmission rate can be provided; • Under the circumstance of 0.5mm core diameter, the transmission distance can be 1500m; Under the circumstance of 0.4mm core diameter, the transmission distance can be 1200m; • Parameters of VDSL line can be queried and configured, including the upstream and downstream service rates, noise tolerance, output power, line attenuation, etc. Security Level: Internal
