Private Colleges • Each college has its own admission requirements • Meeting the UC requirements will satisfy most private colleges; however many selective private colleges do require SAT Subject Tests • Questions? Does the PSAT really matter? • National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in Junior Year • Good practice for SAT or ACT • Offered once per year only in October

NCAA Eligibility • Start the certification process at end of 11th grade by going to www.ncaaclearinghouse.net • Earn a GPA of at least 2.0 in a core curriculum of 16 approved classes for Division I • Meet the core GPA/Test Score Index
