The Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery Raising standards protecting patient Established in 1999, the AustralasianCollege of Cosmetic Surgery is a not-for-profit, multi-disciplinary fellowship based body of cosmetic surgeons, plastic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, dermatologists, ear nose and throat surgeons, ophthalmologists and other doctors and health care practitioners who practice in cosmetic medicine and surgery for men and women. The guidelines will progress stepwise from: Basic training to Appropriate specific procedural training, to Clinical experience, including the tabling of a clinical log showing the required minimum number of cases; (see below). The Board of Censors will be granted discretion to assess individual cases which do not fall into the standard categories; (applications for special consideration). It is expected that this discretion will be exercised in limited circumstances.
