She is a heroine to me because she wanted every woman/girl in Pakistan to have an education, and show that there is power in education for everyone man or woman. Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani school pupil and education activist from the town of Mingora in the Swat District of Pakistan's north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. She is known for her activism for rights to education and for women, especially in the Swat Valley, where the Taliban had at times banned girls from attending school. Malala Yousafzai 12 July 1997 (age 16) She promised to: to give every single girl in Pakistan to be able to go to school. She found it unfair that only boys/men were allowed to get an education ,while woman were taught how to keep a clean household. In the future I hope Malala will win more awards for her bravery. In the afternoon of Tuesday, 9 October 2012, Malala boarded her school bus in the northwest Pakistani district of Swat. A gunman asked for Malala by name, then pointed a Colt 45 at her and fired three shots. One bullet hit the left side of Malala's forehead, travelled under her skin the length of her face and then into her shoulder. She was very brave to recover from this experience and use it to inspire a whole generation of Muslim women. The words she uses are full of compassion and it is a noble desire that every girl is allowed to get an education.
