  7. UCAS - Universities and Colleges Admissions Service UCAS processes the applications for full-time courses at higher education providers in the UK. Guide students through the whole process, providing valuable information and supporting services for applicants and their parents. www.ucas.com

UCAS Apply 2019 • Application is entirely online • Maximum of fivechoices • Some choice restrictions: • for medicine, veterinary science/medicine and dentistry there is a maximum of four choices • can only apply for either Oxford or Cambridge • Simple application cost: • one choice – £13 • two to five choices – £24 • Equal consideration if deadlines are met • Invisibility – universities cannot see where else someone has applied

Key Dates & Deadlines for UCAS Applications June – September 2019 Students register and start completing their applications in college and at home 27th September 2019 College deadline for Oxbridge, medicine, Vet science and dentistry 15th October 2019 UCAS deadline for Oxbridge, medicine, Vet science and dentistry 29th November 2019 College deadline for all other undergraduate courses 15th January 2020 UCAS deadline for all other undergraduate courses Last date to submit an application before Clearing – 30th June (18:00 UK time)
