Citizenship Themed projects during tutorials 2006/07: Equality and Diversity, Sustainability and Wilberforce Bicentenary – 1000+ learners involved 2007/08: Equality and Diversity, Sustainability and Enterprise – 2500+ learners involved 2008/09: Equality and Diversity, Sustainability and Community Action Crime Prevention and Personal Safety 2 Day Event – in conjunction with over 15 local agencies attracted over 1000 learners, staff and general public

Hull College Mission: To inspire and enable outstanding, life-changing education and training to diverse communities. • National Democracy Week • Guildhall visits and tours are organised • Refreshments with the Lord Mayor for 2 groups • Tour and sitting in on a full council meeting • Learners from a wide range of vocational backgrounds from supported learning, Foundation Studies, Beauty to Plumbing and Construction. • Question Time Event

Alcohol Awareness BIIAB Accredited Level One Certificate Short course underpinning the ECM themes 2894 participants this year across the Group Success rates – 98% Celebration Event is planned
