  2. SAR-003 Meetings • Since Last Report to RSC on July 29 • SAR-003 Team met on • August 14th • September 2nd • September 9-10th (Preview to PDCWG) • September 16th • October 3rd • We have made significant progress

  3. Overview of the Standard • Standard applicable to BA, GOP and GO • BA to identify Reportable Events and provide necessary data to Texas RE • BA has the responsibility to ensure that correct Interconnection Minimum Frequency Response (MW/0.1Hz) is used • BA to calculate 12 month rolling average frequency response of the frequency responsive Resources of the interconnection and report the same to Texas RE

  4. Overview of the Standard • GOP shall report to BA the operating range where it is capable of providing required governor response and any variations considered on the expected frequency response of each Resource. • GO/GOP will limit governor dead bands of turbine governors to a limit • GO/GOP shall sustain its governor response to all frequency deviations that exceed the dead band except for valid reasons

  5. Task ahead • So far, we have completed a draft version of • Requirements • Measurements • Compliance • Violation Severity Levels • Review and modify each of these if necessary • Next Meeting of the team is October 23 • Present the draft in next RSC meeting in November
