Why we’re here… • To provide services designed to help LISD meet its goals. • To assist the Board of Trustees, Superintendent, and management of the district in the effective discharge of their responsibilities. • To monitor risks. • To ensure that the controls in place are adequate to mitigate those risks. How? By furnishing analyses, appraisals, recommendations, counsel, and information concerning the activities reviewed and by promoting effective control at reasonable costs.
