1. Local HOSA Chapters Health Science Education teachers serve as HOSA chapter advisors
Schools sponsor HOSA chapters
Chapter members elect officers and develop bylaws, policies and procedures, and an annual program of work
Chapter members participate in classroom, school, community, regional, state, and national activities
2. HOSA Advisors Obtain HOSA resource materials
Share the benefits of HOSA with students, parents, school administrators, business and industry partners.
Help students establish a program of work
Assist officers in carrying out duties and provide time for meetings and activities
Encourage/motivate students to participate in a variety of HOSA activities
3. HOSA Membership Affiliation Obtain a national charter number & password (call 1-800-321-HOSA)

4. HOSA 100% Affiliation When all Health Science Education students in a program affiliate with HOSA at the local, state and national level, the chapter receives a certificate and is listed as 100% HOSA in the HOSA magazine.
5. HOSA 100 Club All chapters that submit their paid affiliation fee by October 15 are recognized as part of the HOSA 100 Club in the HOSA Magazine and receive a special certificate.
6. Program of Work A written outline of activities a chapter plans to accomplish during the year that includes:
