UNRA(A)VEL WITH A PARTNER (at your desk group) discuss your predictions from first 2 steps: • Can you connect with your predictions to any previous knowledge? • Have students share and compare their predictions.
UNRA(A)VEL R: Run through and number the paragraphs Number each paragraph 1,2,3 … Then when you locate answers, you can write the paragraph number next to the questions quickly. *This is a GREAT test-taking skill!!
UNRA(A)VEL • A: Are you reading the questions? • Pre-read each question and focus on important information. • Remember to use your numbered paragraphs to help locate answers.
UNRA(A)VEL • A: Are important words circled/underlined? • Circle or underline important words. • Remember your questions. • Use these important words to help you locate information quickly, as well as, stay focused on the reading.
