Awad Rasras Has 25 Years of Experience In Teaching Mathematics Awad Rasras is Mathematics Associate Professor at Jefferson Community and Technical College, Louisville - the largest of sixteen colleges that form the Kentucky Community and Technical College system. It is a comprehensive, public, postsecondary institution accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  With over 15, 000 students, six campuses and many other sites, Jefferson is the area’s second largest college and provides students with a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere with professional staff and faculty. It offers students the flexibility of choosing from its over 70 programs and more than 300 degrees, diploma and certificate options whilst enjoying the benefits of its small class sizes, convenient locations and extensive support system.

  3. B.S in Mathematics (1978) Awad Rasrasenrolled in the Birzeit University to receive his B.S. in Mathematics. Birzeit University is a Palestinian Arab institution which is supervised by an autonomous Board of Trustees which is responsible for running it and formulating its policies. The university is committed to excellence and promotes experimentation, creativity, innovation, teamwork, and democratic practices in pluralism, respect for others and freedom of expression. It provides an open, liberal environment that emphasizes the Arab-Islamic Heritage and allows students to develop their personalities as well as realize their potentials. Since its inception, the university has strived to provide equal learning opportunities and to prepare students to be good citizens committed to the advancement and well being of society.

MA in Mathematics (1983) To pursue his MA degree with concentration in Mathematics, Awad Rasras attended Texas Woman’s University, a public university that is recognized as the country’s largest academic institution mainly for women. It has campuses in Dallas, Houston and Denton which are joined by e-learning campus that provides innovative online degree programs in general studies, business and education.

  5. MA in Education (1985) In addition, Awad Rasras attended the University of Kansas to complete his MA in Education in 1985. The University of Kansas (KU) is a reputable public research university that has its campuses located in Wichita, Lawrence, Salina, Overland Park and Kansas City, Kansas. It is the largest university in the state of Kansas and one among the 63 members of the Association of American Universities.
