Adjusting to the Vision Defining Destiny • Stepping into a place in time predetermined by God where I will have the greatest impact on the destiny of others Defining a Destiny Walker A person or people group “DETERMINED” to walk in the purposes predetermined for them with the focus on doing the will of God while impacting the destiny of others.

  3. Adjusting to the Vision RECAP Destiny Walkers must first understand that they are called to play a “Small Part” of a “BIGGER PICTURE • The Bigger Picture consist of the KINDOM’S AGENDA • Restoration – Restoring Mankind back to a relationship w/ the Father

  5. Adjusting to the Vision RECAP My Part In The Kingdom Requires Having Vision: Vision is a divine revelation base on a “Word” from God! It becomes the “guiding light” to where I’m going Ps 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Adjusting to the Vision 4Principles Destiny Walkers Must To Recognize: • God’s Call Gives Identity & Purpose to Me -Eph 2:10 (AMP) • God’s Call qualifies Me -2 Cor 3:4-5(GW) • My Vision of me must Adjust to God’s Vision for Me -Ps 139:13–18 • God’s Presence Determines My Success-Ex 35:14-15 (BSB)

  7. Adjusting to the Vision • Every Destiny Walker Should ‘Experience’ a God-Encounter • A God-Encounter is a “Super-Natural’ experience with our Father • These encounters will adjust our vision of God • Gideon’s encounter gave him a vision of God as Jehovah- Shalom Jdg 6:17-27

  8. Adjusting to the Vision Distrust became a “Mental Challenge” • Strongholds are habitual mental challenges that consistently opposes Kingdom thought patterns. • Mental Challenges emerge as Defense Mechanisms

  9. Adjusting to the Vision Israel’s mental challenge was “dis-Trust” Their defense mechanism was “Cognitive Distortion”: Thoughts that cause individuals to perceive reality inaccurately They did not trust what God was doing in their life

  10. Adjusting to the Vision • The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Cor. 10:5 - NIV).

  11. Adjusting to the Vision • Strongholds are defended by arguments and pretensions—acceptable lies There are two operative words: • Arguments. Gr. logismos: ‘thoughts’. Not a petty squabble when people are arguing with each other; but rather powerful reasoning • Pretension. Gr. hupsoma: ‘height’. This refers to pompous reasoning or haughty reasoning

  12. Adjusting to the Vision • Bull(Ox) represents -my might, power or strength. We must replace a faulty stronghold with an ALTAR: • Place of Intimacy & Worship • Place of Slaughter • Place of Victory

  13. Adjusting to the Vision The Burnt Offering Of A Destiny Walker: • Inquires Favor • A Means of Expiation • Expresses Adoration • Displays Love & Devotion to the Lord • A Dedicated Life unto Total Service to the Lord • Showed Total Surrender
