  4. AHIP – A Resource for Public Health • AHIP collaborates with public health partners and stakeholders to improve vaccine delivery. In this role, AHIP: • Works as a liaison between private health and public health community. • Provides training to public health entities on core concepts of contracting with health plans for vaccine delivery. • Promotes collaboration and the use of robust, evidence-driven best practices to improve vaccine delivery and billing.

Partnering to Improve Vaccine Delivery and Public Sector Billing for Vaccines • Health Insurance Emergency Preparedness and Response Efforts with HHS and ASPR. • Nurse Triage Line Project with the CDC, ASTHO and NACCHO. • The First National Adult Immunization Summit and Workgroups with HHS, CDC, NVPO and AMA. • The Advisory Committee on Public Health and Pharmacies with ASTHO. • Immunization Billing Project with the CDC and grant-funded state and local public health entities.
