  2. Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa were colonized by Britain (United Kingdom).

  3. After being colonies for decades, many people in Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa became influenced by the pan-Africanist movement.

  4. Pan-Africanism movement is the idea that people of African descent should unite and work together for their freedoms.

  5. As a result, many Africans became Nationalists, and began struggling with Europeans for their independence.

  6. Nationalism is the strong pride in one’s nation (country) or ethnic group.
