College requirements • Each branch of the Service has different requirements. Minimum entrance-age requirements are 17 with parental consent or 18 without parental consent.
Job duties/Responsibilities • Operate tanks, light armor, and amphibious assault vehicles during combat situations on land or in aquatic environments. Duties include driving armored vehicles which require specialized training; operating and maintaining targeting and firing systems; operating and maintaining advanced onboard communications and navigation equipment; transporting personnel and equipment in a combat environment; and operating and maintaining auxiliary weapons, including machine guns and grenade launchers.

In combat, their role is to operate tanks, amphibious assault vehicles, and other types of armored assault vehicles to engage and destroy the enemy. Armored units also conduct scouting missions and support infantry units during combat. Crew members work as a team to operate armored equipment and fire weapons to destroy enemy positions.
