Use SD Ladder functions to: • Log data to OS defined file - up to 2 millions logs in 1G SD card! • Copy data from DT to SD and from SD to DT • Make Excel (*.csv or *.txt) files and store them direct to SD • Make your own Data base on SD and read/write any kind of data • there • Store any kind of files – web pages, pictures, documents and • then upload them via advanced WEB server

What can I do with an SD card? • Use Unitronics SD Toolsutility to: • Format the SD card. • View, and read/write Data to/from PC. • Export Data to Excel file or as an .csv file. • Access the SD card remotely via the SD Explorerutility. You can view, • open, copy or delete SD files via Serial, CANbus, or Ethernet.

  7. Before you begin • Format the SD card in your PC with the SD Card • Manager utility. • This operation will structure the SD card creating • necessary folder structure.

  8. SD Card: Folders and File Types You can save DT lines into a log file on an SD card. The communication is: write only. DT • You can use an SD Card to • Expend Data Tables memory. • Save recipes. • Save logs. • Manage, import and export recipes. • Creating continuous log process. • Note: PLC can read only a full DT. • Part of DT can be read only by the SD Card Manager. • The communication is: read & write LOG

  9. SD Card: Folders and File Types The Ladder function Create Line of PLC data, including text strings, and saves it to a vector of operands. The function Write Delimited Line uses this data to build either a .csv or .txt line,and can write it to an Excel file in this folder, or in one of four sub-folders.When the Ladder function Write .cvs or text Line to SD, it appends data lines to the specified file. The communication is: write only. EXCEL SDBLOCKS Your Ladder application can create up to 4 SD Data Block files in this folder (Random access files). SD Block functions read/write blocks of raw data between operands and these files.

And create a file via Information Mode. the file is stored in this folder. When you install Clone file from an SD card to a PLC, Information Mode looks in this folder for the appropriate file SYSTEM User Application can be downloaded/uploads to/from an SD card via Information mode.
