Protocol Background • Standard protocol to prove reliability of GrocerSmart DOE 2R savings estimates. • Compare savings estimate via GrocerSmart to savings estimate via annualized pre and post metered data for that project. • Protocol and research plan crafted by subcommittee in August 2011 • Research not completed (yet), protocol set to sunset in August. • PECI has collected data for seven measures to date. • Research plan asked for data collection on 36 measures.

  3. Meeting Objectives • Review PECI implementation of the standard protocolto date. • Data collection and analysis methodology. These may differ from the standard protocol. • Comparison of metered data (best practices) to modeled data (simplest reliable method). • Make a recommendation to the RTF • Does the technical subcommittee approve PECI data collection and analysis methods? • Does the technical subcommittee recommend extending the sunset date for this protocol? • Other? • Is there a revised research plan/ protocol that the subcommittee recommends? Timing?
