Legal Status of District Deputy Sec 12 (B) - DD is a non-voting member of the State Council Sec 60 (5) - appointed by Supreme Knight with consent of State Deputy to serve one year (1 July – 30 June), max of 4 years Special circumstances may allow 1 year extension Sec 63 - acts within his assigned district, outside district with State Deputy approval or outside state with Supreme Knight approval Conflicts – may not serve as elected officer in a council DD serves TEXAS STATE COUNCIL 2010 MID-YEAR MEETING
