Items on power cords can damage the wires inside the cord and create a hazard. • Question 1: What is a power cord? • Question 2: What hazards can result by a heavy object being placed on the wire? . Safety Explanation Hi, Smiley again. It is so awesome that an adult will be in the lab to help you assemble electric circuits. The teachers will be wiring the electric plug and the power source for your safety.
