Banner Web for Finance • Want to print reports for your department? • Need reports for a specific period? • Want to compare this fiscal year to the last fiscal year?
Step 1: Launch Internet Explorer and the ONU Home Page. Choose Campus Pipeline.
Step 8: Choose “Budget Status by Account” and click on “Create Query”.
Step 9: Select the options you would like to have in your report. The most common selections are “Adopted Budget”, “Year to Date”, and “Available Balance”. Then click on “Continue”.
Step 10: Enter the information for your query. You will need to enter the fiscal year, fiscal period and your organization number for your department. Then click on “Submit Query”.
Guide to Query Parameters Fiscal Year: FY 01-02 is 2002, FY 02-03 is 2003, etc. Fiscal Period: 01 is June 02 is July 03 is August 04 is September 05 is October 06 is November Chart of Accounts: This is always “1”. 07 is December 08 is January 09 is February 10 is March 11 is April 12 is May Fund: This is always “110”.
Navigation And Customization Of Reports
By clicking on the amount in the “Year to Date Column”, you can access the detail transactions for a particular line item.
This is the detail for the transactions in the PC Software account.
To view more line items, click on “Next 15”. To view the previous line items, click on “Previous 15”.
You can perform additional computations, such as percent of budget computations by adding additional columns to your query.
This is the report produced after adding columns and additional computations.
If you want to perform additional calculations, go to the computation block, fill in the computation to be performed, and click on “Perform Calculation”.
If you would like to save a query that you have created, just click on the “Save Query as” button and give the query a unique name.
To retrieve a saved query, click on “Retrieve Query” and choose the query you would like to work with.
