  2. Sky Ride Local Update Richmond Sky Ride Local NOTE: In addition, approximately 110 Richmond residents took part in rides outside the Borough. This equates to approximately 12% of those on London Sky Ride Local rides

Participant Feedback • Comments on Richmond events include; • “Fun ride - well organized and a good route around Richmond” • “Nice leisurely ride around Richmond and surrounding area, highly recommended” • “Thanks to Hannah and all the Sky Ride leaders who were all excellent” • “A fun day and makes me want to get out on my bike more. It was great to discover a new area and the leaders pointing out places of interest made it even more enjoyable - good stuff” • “The three ride leaders were very good at watching over a large group - felt very safe. A very enjoyable afternoon”

  5. Local Resource • x3 training courses • 26 ride leaders trained • 6 route planners trained. • 22 of the 26 live in the borough. • Significant local resource – many are interested in setting up social cycling groups • x10 new, fully validated, risk assessed routes mapped

Breeze • x4 Breeze Champions in the Borough • x4 further Champions will be running rides in Richmond • Currently mapping routes and scheduling rides • Team building and preparation rides currently being organised Bike Maintenance • Kingston University- Intermediate - 12 attended /16 places • Kingston University- Advanced - 11/12 • Crystal Palace- Intro - 12/16 • Crystal Palace- Intermediate - 16/16

Strategy Planning • Currently developing recreational cycling Action Plan - Activity based • Objectives, Audit of current provision, Potential future activities • Workplaces & Social cycling networks under development • Sky Ride Local Evaluation report – end November • Year 1 evaluation report – Mar / April
