Act 129 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Programs • EE&C Programs offered by largest electric utilities in Pennsylvania • Must meet incremental consumption and demand reduction targets • May 31, 2011 – Must reduce consumption by 1% of 2009-2010 forecast • May 31, 2013 – Must reduce consumption by 3% of 2009-2010 forecast • May 31, 2013 – Must reduce demand by 4.5% of 2007-2008 peak demand • EE&C Programs - Future • Current programs end May 31, 2013 • Currently, the Commission proposed future consumption reduction targets for the utilities to meet by May 31, 2016 • The programs will still include proportionate numbers of measures for each rate class
