  3. Confirmation of Teams for Primary League • Confirmation of Teams for Primary League • Membership Dues: • $850 for Primary League and T20 ($75 will be refunded if secure sponsorship) • $100 for Winter Cup • $725 Ground Usage Fees • Due Date: 1/25/2010 (Monday)

  4. USACA Fee Increase and its Impact on NTCA • The USACA fee increase is from $30 per club to $100 per club. • More than 300% increase from previous years • Mandatory to carry their liability insurance from next year. $100 per club increase. • Need find sources of funding to cover the increase from $1450 per year to $4200 per year.

  5. Development Board • Purpose: will advise NTCA and lead on growth via external sponsorships. • Some resources identified: Moazzam Baig, Kai Wood, John Gowen (TBD) • Others: General body to be requested to provide prospective leaders from business and other walks of life

  6. 2010 Committees Overview • At this moment we are going to ask nominations for Disciplinary Committee (DC) Operations Committee (OC), Scheduling Committee • Due Date: 1/15/2010. Email to EC@ntcricket.com with the preference of committee you would like to serve • In 2010, we will have 3 people (1 chair) DC, OC and SC

  7. Legislation against sledging and dissent • Purpose: To eradicate the possibility of violence • Timing: To be incorporated in the by-laws before the commencement of the primary leagues

  8. Captains Meeting • Purpose: to emphasize captains responsibilities towards : 1. Maintaining Discipline in the games and keeping the games free from any issues. 2. Sending qualified umpires at all times. 3. Timely completion of all scorecard related duties. • Timing: Before Primary League Starts

  9. 2009 Successes and Lessons Learned • Successes • T20 • Growth • DSRC • 4 distinct tournaments • Lesson Learned • Uncertified Umpires • Youth Camp • Re-scheduling

NTCA Tournament Calendar for 2010 • Mandatory NTCA Tournaments: • Primary League – 1st Weekend in March till last weekend in June • T20 – Extend ended Competitive Version • Optional NTCA Tournament: • Winter Cup – 1st weekend in December till Last weekend in February • Inaugural NTCA Tournaments: • Independence Cup & 6-A-Side Labor Day

  11. Intercity 2010 • The Concept • This is a tournament will be played amongst Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Each team will play other two teams Twice in 2010. This in not affiliated to Central West . • Why Participate? • To create infrastructure and environment within NTCA to promote cricketers. • To mitigate void after current crops of cricketer hang their boots. • To Provide exposure to cricketers within NTCA and help them play at higher level. • To Provide opportunities to upcoming talent and youngsters within NTCA. • NTCA Point person • Rahul Kukreti
