  3. Saudi’s Culture • Saudi’s have external appearance of Islamic practice. Men and women typically dress in cultural and religious dress, and woman must cover their head and bodies. Men and women have strict dress codes. Men are not supposed to talk to women in public unless they are married or close relatives • The typical man from Saudi wears a thobe which is a white gown with a agal, a black ring that holds the scarf in place and the ghutra which is a red and white square shaped scarf that covers the head.

  4. Saudi’s Religion • Saudi is primarily a Islamic nation. • Saudi is know as “The Lands of The Two Holy Mosques” because it has Islamism’s two mosques. Medina Mecca

Saudi has two temples • Saudi’s primary reason for people visiting Saudi is because of its two mosques Mecca and Medina This is a map of places people visit when they travel to Saudi and the temples are the biggest attraction.

  6. Saudi’s Government • Saudi’s Government is that of a Monarchy meaning that a king rules the land. • The kings are the primary benefactor of the nations wealth

  7. Economics • Saudi’s primary source of income is oil • Saudi first found that they had oil in March of 1938 • Saudi would be a dying country if it wasn’t for their oil fields

  8. Travel to Saudi • The US doesn’t have a strict travel requirements with Saudi • Traveling to Saudi from the US is as easy as traveling to the UK. • The US doesn’t recommend traveling to the middle east because of all the turmoil.
