Climate and Vegetation • Summer’s can reach up to 113 degrees fahrenheit and can reach temperatures below freezing at night.
Government • Monarchy based on Islam until 1992 when it changed to a royal family. • Headed by the King who also the commander in chief of the military. • King has a cabinet of 22 members • Former allies to the U.S.
History and Current Events • It is the birth place of Islam • In 1990 they joined the coalition that opposed Iraq’s annexation of Kuwait
Economy • Largest exporter in the world • Income relies heavily on oil • Export surplus more than 100% • Strong Production of natural gas as well
Culture • Arabic is the official language • Major religion is Muslim • Dress conservatively
