  2. Matthew 5:14-16: Good works as Light 14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

  3. How do we let our light shine?

  4. Be a Light to Others • Live to love. Don’t “hide your love in a basket.” • Measure your life in love. • The longer you live, the deeper your love must be. • In living to love others, we make others glorify God and be closer to Him.

  5. Prayer for Generosity Lord Jesus, teach me to be generous; teach me to serve you as you deserve, to give and not to count the cost, to fight and not to heed the wounds, to toil and not to seek for rest, to labor and not to seek reward, say that of knowing that I do your will.Amen.
