Low Carbon Technology • Develop a series of dynamic CPD workshops • 10 Topics including: • Overview of renewable technologies • Planning legislation • Site Visit • Each workshop has a relevant assessment
Food Industry Waste and Resource Solutions • Certificate in Food Industry Waste and Resource Solutions • Completion of 10 workshops • Each workshop has an active learning element • Workshop Delivery • Four ½ day workshops every three months • On site delivery at premises • Certificate in Waste and Resource Optimisation in Food Processing • 12 month project • A structured work environment

NORTH WEST HLSP AIMS • Increase demand from employers for higher level skills provision • Increase employer engagement with higher level skills provision in HE Institutions (HEIs), FE Colleges (FECs) and Work Based Learning Providers (WBLs) • Increase the capacity of HEIs, FECs and WBLs to respond to employer demand for higher level skills and embed workforce development in HE strategies • Test the level of investment employers are prepared to contribute for development and delivery of this provision • Disseminate best practice identified through the NW Model which could be rolled out to other regions
