Customer Requirement The proliferation of Man Portable Air Defense Systems (MANPADS) missiles as well as known surface to air and air to air threats require aircraft self-protection equipment to enhance the survivability of head of state and military aircrew and aircraft. The desired protection level against current and future threats requires technical analysis of Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) capabilities, interoperability, sustainability, life cycle costs and export licensing requirements.
