  3. He has many names, but is commonly known as Poseidon or Neptune (Neptūnus in Latin). Depending on which country you are from, Poseidon (Neptune) will be God of different things. In Roman mythology Neptune is God of water and sea. In Greek mythology Poseidon is God of Water, Sea, Earthquakes, Horses and Navigation.
