  1. Lesson Plan for 0-18m For infants and toddlers ages 0-36 months

  2. Activity Jello time • Ages 0-18 months • Why? Children can explore using all their senses!

  3. Materials • Jello in all different colors and flavors • Premade by caregivers

  4. Curriculum content • Cognitive development- exploring objects

  5. What will they do? • Explore, touch, smell, taste, see, and play while learning

  6. He loved it!

  7. Extensions • Easier- place jello on tray for child. • Trickier- allow child to help you scoop jello out of dish.

  8. So did he!

  9. Next time • We will use colorful flavored whip cream.

  11. Activity movement and dance • Teachers and children move their bodies using yogo

  12. Materials • Yoga cards, mats, and an open space

  13. KDI • Physical development- moving the whole body

  14. Yoga class!

  15. Extensions • Easier- children move at their own pace doing their own moves • Trickier- children follow teacher as they perform activities

  16. Follow up • Teachers leave out the yoga card in the classroom for children to experiment with later during movement times.
