  2. WARM - UP • What is the 1st of January called? • In that day, what do people usually do? • How about your country?

  3. WARM - UP • Now work in groups of four and list some activities that Westerners usually do in the New Year day. • To know exactly what people all around the world often do in the New Year day, let’s go to the text “New Year’s observances around the world”.
